Royal Legends: Chapter 1- Unknown Meetings
A man and a woman were standing at the train station at Weymouth, England, the dark and mysterious south-west. They were on their way to a better, and wealthier cities England, Cambridge.
The man’s name was Johnathan and his wife, Anne was heading to a new job to be assistants to the Lord of Cambridge. The lord was very orderly mannered. Making sure anyone and everyone didn’t get in his way.
“When will the train get here Johnathan?” Anne asked nervously, “We’ve been waiting here for an hour. You know the lord will distrust us. I do not want to come back here again!”
“Shush,” His voice strict and upset, “This is a public area, other lads and ladies could replace us in a second!”
“I guess so.”
Two young men came up, “Are you Mr. and Mrs. Carter?”
“Yes we are, lads.” He responded at one tone.
“Mr. and Mrs. Carter, you two are in car eight, carriage number three.” The tall one with the bright green eyes said.
“Let’s go then,” Anne said enthusiastically, “And I have question. What are your names?”
“I am Timothy and his name is Charles,” the younger boy with dark blue eyes said.
Timothy led the way to the carriage. Mr. Carter dropped the bags on the floor, and took his heavy coat.
They went to the eating car of the large train. They were serving coffee and snare bread. Timothy went to the back with Charles and sat on the floor eating burnt toast crumbs from a bowl. Both drinking the unpurified local water. A older women with a tray went up to them, “Would you like to have any lamb stew?”
“Yes please, lady,” Mrs. Carter said politely. “Do you have any chamomile tea?”
“Yes lady, right away,” she scurried off to the cooking car.
“Invite the two young lads and their poor old mother to dine with us,” Anne demanded him.
And so he did. They all sat and ate stew, talking about an unsolvable death of one of Lord’s family members. They had worked for them for many years, until the woman was convicted for stealing a necklace.
A couple of hours went by; when they said something they would never forget. It made Mr. and Mrs. Carter the ones in line for crown, and the only person getting in the way was the lord.
